Holly the Cat needs a home
Holly may look big but underneath all that glorious tuxedo fur is an itty-bitty, 7 pound kitty. Holly came to Purrfect Pals because her owners were moving and unable to keep her. This shy little 6 year-old girl has had a hard time adjusting to shelter life and might take a bit of coaxing to come out and say hello. When she does, she will tell you how appreciative she is of gentle pets and scratching. Holly takes a little while to acclimate to new spaces, but when she's comfortable, she'll be happy to hang out with you and chat. Her favorite sound is the 'pop' of a can of tuna flavored wet food being opened. Holly does give love nibbles occasionally, which makes her a better fit with cat-savvy adults or older children who can learn to read her body language, rather than young children. She has been indoor only her entire life and hasn't ever lived with other cats or dogs. This young kitty is looking for a safe home with kind people willing to grant her the time she needs to get comfortable with her new, improved circumstances. Once she gets to know them, and feels secure, this bundle of fur will be a great addition to the family!
